Treasure Island - part 1

Tim Hawkins was a boy when the story began. His mother has an inn by the sea. One day, he found an old map in a dead pirate's sea chest. He took it to his friends, Doctor Livesey and Mr. Trelawney.

Together, Jim and his friends decided to look for the treasure. They travelled to Bristol. There, they got a ship ~ The Hispaniola. They also found some sailors and a captain ~ Captain Smollett.

One of the sailors was a man with a wooden leg. His name was Long John Silver. He had a pet parrot. He was very interested when Mr Trelawney talked about dead captain flint's treasure.

Jim and his friends went onto the Hispaniola. They sailed for many days. There was a big apple barrel on the ship. One night Jim climbed into it. Suddenly, he heard voices.

"Listen," said Silver. "it's better to be a rich pirate, than a poor sailor. After they find the treasure, let's kill them."
"Yes", said other voices. "we're with you."

Jim realized that Silver was a pirate. Later, he told his friends. Captain Smollett decided to do nothing. "Let's wait and see what happen", he said.
